Before you commit

• Model your real worst day during the trial, not an average one.
• Check it respects skills and licences, not just geography, or you will route the wrong tech to the wrong job.
• For telematics, confirm the insurance discount in writing before you count it as savings.
• Tell your crews what is being tracked and why. Surprise GPS is a retention problem.
• Make sure the optimised route lands in the tech app they already use.

How to judge it in a trial

Run one real job through it end to end — not the demo data. Quote it, schedule it, do it, invoice it, take the payment. Then ask the only question that matters on day 400: did the people who have to use this every day find it faster than what they do now? Friction you notice in week one compounds forever, and tool-hopping costs more than any feature gap.
