🎨 Finishing Trades & Roofing Schools

How people actually get in

Almost nobody schools into these. The realistic path is a crew, a van, and a few years of doing the work well. Where training exists it tends to be manufacturer-run — flooring and roofing system certifications from the product makers often matter more to customers than any school credential.

Ask before you enrol

• Weigh a manufacturer certification (which comes with warranty standing) against a school certificate.
• Ask what the programme covers on substrate prep — it is the part that causes callbacks.
• Given how few schools offer this, check a local contractor apprenticeship before paying tuition.
